Media of Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to changing the world through music, film, and education.
We believe media is the most powerful tool to shape culture and inspire transformation. Our mission is to empower women and girls in vulnerable communities by giving them access to education, creative outlets, and platforms where their voices can be heard.
Through powerful storytelling, original films, and music projects that uplift and inspire, we spark conversations that challenge stereotypes and advance equality. At the same time, our global workshops and events—such as the Friends in Fashion program and community empowerment initiatives—help young women build confidence, skills, and opportunities to design their own future.
What We Do:
🎶 Music for Empowerment: Original songs and performances that fund programs for girls’ education and empowerment.
🎥 Films for Change: Producing and supporting film projects (American Masala, Shadows, A Woman Without Her Pearls) that highlight women’s voices and social justice.

Wellness Gatherings: Guided by practices in yoga, Reiki, breathwork, and trauma-informed healing, our founder Alizah creates spaces for personal alignment and collective growth.
